826 National is a family of seven organizations dedicated to helping students aged six to eighteen with their expository and creative writing. writers talking is very proud to do whatever we can to encourage and strengthen their mission -- in a way, we're helping build the next generation of authors! 826 National was founded by authors Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida with educator Ninive Clements Calegari in San Francisco in 2002.
